Runtime Calculator
Stack your real loads against any of the 14 stations on our bench. The model checks continuous and surge limits, applies duty cycles, and derates capacity 15% for inverter losses — the math spec sheets skip.

How the model works
Three checks run on every combination. First, continuous load: the sum of your selected running watts must fit inside the station's rated inverter output. Second, surge: the worst single startup spike (compressors, pumps) stacked on top of the other running loads must fit inside the surge rating. Third, runtime: usable energy is rated Wh × 0.85, divided by the duty-cycle-weighted draw — a fridge that cycles 35% of each hour consumes about a third of its label wattage over time.
These are modeled estimates, not lab measurements. Cold weather, battery age, and aggressive loads can shave 10–20% off. For load-specific deep dives, see the Can It Run index — all 20 loads get a full verdict page.
